Victoria Birks, Head of Operations

“Jake was a genuine pleasure to work with. He supported PR & Comms, local stakeholder engagement and planning committee preparation with enthusiasm, creativity and a proactive approach. He brought lots of ideas to the table and helped achieve really positive outcomes for the project. I’d happily work with him again.”

Joseph Baum, Director of Planning & Community Engagement

“Jake supported Our Place by delivering the 'Our Place, Our Pledge' charter, a document that clearly articulated our vision for a new sustainable community in Horsham. He translated three core pledges (housing, infrastructure and sustainability) into a cohesive campaign which brought strategic clarity and creative flair to the work. The content was compelling and accessible and resonated with council members, local stakeholders and residents alike.

“The charter has become a real asset in driving development engagement and is a replicable model for communicating ambitious, community-led development.”

About Fieldcraft

As a former journalist, Jake launched Fieldcraft with over a decade of experience in PR and communications across the built environment, infrastructure and innovation sectors.

Fieldcraft is a focused version of that experience to bring clear thinking and straightforward messaging, without the noise.
